Kirka-frontWe are a virtual resource available to researchers around the globe 365/24/7. Everyone has access to historical images and information about Norwegian urban immigrants, never before available in one place.

The NIA Research Center resides in the library at the Inger and William Ginsberg Library of the Norwegian Seamen’s Church in Manhattan.  It offers books, files, clippings, a computer station, and a library atmosphere conducive to browsing or studying.

Our physical location is in the Inger and William Ginsberg Library at the Norwegian Seamen’s Church (Kong Olav V Church) 317 East 52nd Street, NY, NY 10022. It offers a growing compilation of books, pamphlets, clippings, videos and a computer station in a library atmosphere conducive to doing research.  If you are interested in visiting the library, please contact us at niahistoryonline@yahoo.com.
